Indigenous Resilience in Seven Cubes, Interconnected Worlds Installation

An Immersive Walk-Through Installation Honoring the Living Earth

Spanning 30 feet by 30 feet, this powerful installation invites visitors into a sacred space shaped by Indigenous philosophies of interconnectedness. Inspired by the ceremonial landscapes that once flourished in what is now St. Louis, the piece honors ancient civilizations while affirming the enduring presence of Indigenous peoples today.

As visitors move among the seven monumental cubes, they enter a journey of relationship—between land and spirit, memory and resistance, past and future. Each cube reflects the distinct landscapes and traditions of Indigenous regions across the Americas, portraying not frozen history, but living worlds that echo with resilience, wisdom, and cultural strength.

Swirling oceanic currents around the base of the installation symbolize the tides of history—bearing the devastation of colonization and the enduring force of Indigenous survival and renewal. These currents carry stories of displacement, resistance, and transformation, reminding us that history is not behind us—it flows through us.

The seven cubes also evoke the principle of the Seven Generations: a guiding truth that our actions today ripple forward to affect generations yet unborn. Etched with scars and symbols, they speak of harm done and healing still needed.

This installation is more than a memorial. It is a living ceremony—inviting all who enter to remember, to listen, and to walk with reverence. Designed to travel beyond St. Louis, it serves as a luminous call to honor Indigenous knowledge, protect our shared Earth, and forge a future grounded in justice, harmony, and respect.

This is not just an installation.
It is a bridge across time.
A harmonic echo of Earth and spirit.
A beacon of resilience, hope, and renewal.
